Building the foundations for our business and our brand has been such a collaboration. We had fantastic input from talented companies and people that we partnered with to our amazing clients and team.Â
To us it has confirmed our values and what we stand for and clearly set out our shared aims and goals.
One thing that mattered to us was to look for a way to communicate this in our branding. We put this to our team to see what they thought. Katharine came back immediately with a response that has become a simple declaration that we live by in everything that we set out to do. She simply said, “we care”. It resonated so much with what we stand for.Â
There have been a number of positives in developing our new business, through the rather challenging times we’ve been experiencing since March. Not only have we had more time to get things right. There have been so many examples of well publicised selflessness and caring actions that have touched the nation.
We are a close-knit team and we work together on helping our clients and each other. The lockdown and how we adapted has been a true test of this. We miss seeing each other but everyone has pulled together and gone above and beyond to keep on helping our clients. We are proud of that focus and care. For a business that offers a service, we feel that matters hugely.Â
We know that we can’t influence what we can’t influence. But we can influence what we do! My Mother brought me up to “treat people as you would like to be treated” – follow that mantra and you won’t go far wrong. We are so lucky that everyone in our team definitely does. Hence, we can confidently say, that we’re not just paying lip service to the phrase “We Care” – we definitely do!!!!
We look forward to building on these foundations and cannot wait to start our new chapter as Smith and Wardle Financial Planning. Â
Keep well
Jon, Helena and the team at Smith and Wardle Financial Planning.
